World Liqueur Awards 2025: ad Amaro Don Carlo la Medaglia di Bronzo

The ceremony announcing the winners of the 2025 World Drink Awards took place on 15 April in Norwich, UK. Amaro Don Carlo was awarded the Bronze Medal in the Liqueurs category. The event showcased outstanding products and artisans from all over the world, as well as brand ambassadors and journalists. There were 26 categories in the competition, and the international panel of experts conducted blind tastings according to rigorous criteria.

A competition that began in 2007 as the World Whiskies Awards, organised by Whisky Magazine, before expanding its scope in 2013 to include other types of drinks, thereby taking on its current, broader form as the World Drinks Awards.

This marks yet another significant international accolade for Amaro Don Carlo, an artisanal herbal liqueur that is both a product and a project born from the vision of Angela Caliendo and her husband Carlo Gargiulo, who for years have been selecting and offering quality products with enthusiasm and professionalism at Enoteca Gargiulo in Eboli.

Made from walnut husks (60%) and a blend of selected herbs and spices, Amaro Don Carlo is not simply the result of combining raw ingredients, but the fruit of everything intangible—such as love and deep dedication—as well as the efforts, sacrifices and personal investments that Angela and Carlo have made over time to ensure it took its current form and became a forward-looking project.

The final event of this year’s World Drink Awards is scheduled for 4 June, when the winners of the world titles will be announced.
