Appuntamento a Firenze dal 7 al 9 febbraio
This year, Amaro Don Carlo will be among the leading names in Italian liqueur-making at the 2026 edition of Taste, the Pitti Immagine exhibition that showcases the finest examples of contemporary food and wine.
Amaro Don Carlo, one of around a hundred new companies selected for the first time to showcase their products to the Taste community, will be present at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 7 to 9 February in the Taste Spirits section, where the spotlight will be on around thirty small producers from across Italy who craft gin, vermouth, amaro and spirits characterised by quality and a distinct personality, each with a story to tell.
This is therefore a very important occasion for Carlo Gargiulo and Angela Caliendo to present their artisanal liqueur, made from walnut husks (60%) and a blend of selected herbs and spices (all ingredients sourced exclusively from Campania), which has become the true pride and joy of their long-established business, Gargiulo Coloniali in Eboli.
An elegant and refined after-dinner drink, a meditative liqueur and a valuable ally in mixology and in the kitchen for the preparation of fine dining dishes, which Carlo Gargiulo himself will present to the knowledgeable international audience at the fair, describing its organoleptic profile, suggesting pairings and ways to use it, as well as illustrating the history and journey that have made it a successful product thanks to the widespread acclaim received from both end consumers and the specialist press.
This 19th edition of Taste revolves around the theme of ‘True Food’, which refers to the authenticity of the products on display to enthusiasts and buyers from all over the world, including specialist retailers, distributors and importers, department stores, Ho.Re.Ca. professionals, restaurateurs, chefs and ingredients experts.
There will be a host of events, including tastings, themed dinners and presentations, taking place in some of Florence’s most beautiful venues as part of the Fuori di Taste programme over the three-day event.
Amaro Don Carlo looks forward to seeing you at Taste 2026 in the Cavaniglia Pavilion / Stand Z/4.
